Why Use a Catbox Bulk Downloader?
Catbox.moe is a popular file hosting service, but downloading many files individually can be a chore. Our tool is built to solve this problem by automating the entire process. Whether you're archiving content or gathering files for a project, our downloader makes it a one-click job.
- No Limits: Paste as many Catbox URLs as you need.
- Any File Type: Download images, videos, documents, and any other file type hosted on Catbox.
- Secure and Private: All downloads happen directly between your browser and Catbox's servers. We never handle your files.
- Organized Archives: Files are neatly packaged into ZIP archives, making them easy to manage.
Technical Documentation: Privacy-First Architecture
Our Catbox Bulk Downloader prioritizes your privacy by performing all operations directly within your web browser. Here's a look at how the technology works.
Direct Browser-to-Server Fetching
When you paste Catbox URLs and click the button, your browser sends
HTTP requests using the fetch()
API directly to Catbox.moe's file servers. The files are received as binary data (Blobs) and
stored temporarily in your browser's memory. Our server never sees or handles your files.
Client-Side ZIP Archiving
We use the open-source JSZip library to compress all
fetched files into a ZIP archive right in your browser. The DEFLATE compression algorithm
reduces the total download size. Once the archive is ready, a temporary download link is
generated using a Blob URL.
Automatic Archive Splitting
To handle very large file collections without running into browser memory limits, the tool monitors the total size of each ZIP archive. When it approaches the 1 GB threshold, the current archive is finalized, a download link is presented, and a new archive begins automatically. This ensures stable, reliable performance regardless of how many files you process.
